Terms

The terms of using this site

A short, plain-English read so we understand each other — what Made with Jai is, and what it isn't.

Last updated: July 2026

Welcome to Made with Jai. By using this site you agree to the terms below. We have kept them brief and free of unnecessary legal language.

What Made with Jai is

Made with Jai is a curated showcase of handmade Thai craft. It is not a marketplace, and there is no cart or checkout. We present the work of named artisans and, when a piece interests you, you inquire or ask to be notified, and a real person replies. Any purchase or commission that follows is arranged personally and confirmed with you directly.

Guide prices

Prices shown in US dollars are indicative guide prices to help you understand the value of the work and the maker's time. They are not live buy prices and are not offers. Final pricing on any made-to-order or commissioned piece is agreed with you before work begins.

Handmade variation and lead times

Everything here is made by hand, so no two pieces are identical — colour, weave, and finish carry the maker's touch, and this is part of the value, not a defect. Many pieces are made to order, which takes time. We describe the honest character and lead time of each piece, and we confirm the timeline with you when you inquire.

Accuracy of information

We work to keep descriptions, guide prices, and details accurate and current, but because pieces are handmade and often made to order, specifics such as exact dimensions or available materials can vary. We will always confirm the details of a particular piece with you before anything is made or agreed.

Content and intellectual property

The writing, photography, and design we create for Made with Jai belong to Made with Jai. Please do not reuse them commercially without permission. The craft itself belongs to the makers who create it. To reference or license anything, just get in touch.

Limits

We share these pieces and stories in good faith, but Made with Jai is provided as is. Any arrangement to acquire or commission a piece is a separate agreement made directly between you, us, and the maker, on terms confirmed at that time.
