The story
This runner keeps its ambition low on purpose: a fine stripe in undyed and softly toned cotton, meant to sit beneath plates and bowls without competing with them. The cotton is handspun, which gives it a little irregular texture you can feel with a thumb.
It is handwoven on traditional wooden floor looms in Sakon Nakhon, where the rhythm of the loom is part of daily life. Because each runner is made by hand, small differences in length and tone are part of the record of how it was made.
Woven to order in small workshops in Thailand — allow 3–4 weeks before it ships.
Machine-wash cold on a gentle cycle and iron warm; it is built for a table that gets used.
