The story
The running motifs of Lanna — small repeating figures that edge a cloth like a signature — are embroidered entirely by hand, in a northern craft tradition passed down for generations around Chiang Mai. The base cotton is naturally dyed with what the hills give: bark, leaf, indigo, the rusted browns of local roots.
The body of this shawl is quiet and matte; the border is where the hours go, each stitch pulled by hand. Held to the light, the embroidery has the slight unevenness that tells you it was made by hand, not a machine.
Each shawl is made to order and stitched for you — allow 3–4 weeks before it ships.
Wash cold by hand and dry flat in the shade to keep the embroidered ends crisp.
