The story
This is a heavier cloth than most — a proper handwoven cotton canvas that can take a market’s worth of weight — naturally dyed in a living kram indigo vat. The result is a tote that looks like it will outlast the season and, in truth, will outlast many of them.
It is unlined by choice. The indigo cotton you see on the outside is the same cotton on the inside, hand-sewn at the seams with a flat base so it stands on its own and wide straps that sit comfortably on the shoulder.
Like all natural indigo work, the exact blue is decided by the vat on the day it is dyed for you. Handwoven and dyed to order in Sakon Nakhon — allow 3–4 weeks before it ships.
Wipe clean or hand-wash cold; the canvas softens with use and the indigo settles into a lived-in patina.
