The story
Rattan is the everyday backbone of southern Thai basketry, and this storage basket is that craft at its most useful: hand-split cane woven over a firm frame, finished with a rolled rim that keeps it standing straight for years.
It is built to earn its keep. Drop in blankets, toys, kindling, or the things that never have a home, and it holds shape without sagging. The natural cane tone warms a room the way wood does, so it looks like it belongs rather than like storage you are hiding.
Each one is hand-woven to order in Nakhon Si Thammarat, and the rattan’s color shifts a little from cane to cane — the mark of a natural material worked by hand. Allow 3–4 weeks before it ships.
Dust with a dry brush; keep it out of standing damp and it will last a very long time.
